We’ve received some great feedback from our customers regarding our new name – Hightail. The new name is just the start and we’re excited to be rolling out the new look very soon.
I wanted to take a moment to remind you of some changes that are upcoming, and clarify a few other things that have been asked.
A new look:
Initially, our website and apps will be updated with the new brand and look - but functionally, everything will remain the same. All of your users content will remain, apps and features will work the same, Uplink links such as https://uplink.yousendit.com/myuplink will continue to work, Site Drop will function, and all API’s will continue to work.
Custom branding changes:
Our website is getting a makeover, which will include pages that you have custom branded with your company logo. To keep everything looking great, you'll need to upload a resized logo to match our new image dimensions. Find full details here:
Desktop apps update:
Our Express and Desktop applications will also be updated and we'll be pushing out an automatic update in mid-July. If you'd prefer to suppress this update for your users, and role the updated apps out on your own schedule, find full instructions here:
The Consumer URL will need to be updated to Hightail by Friday the 12th. If we haven’t already assisted you with this update, please contact us right away so that we can walk you through the change.
Updates to our product documents will be posted on our support site. If you also publish documents on your own site, get in touch and we'll pass on the new versions.
Firewall IP restrictions:
Site Maintenance Friday July 12 from 8pm – midnight (Pacific Time)
We will be using our Friday maintenance window to make changes related to our name change and rebrand. Please anticipate that our site and app will not be available during the maintenance window. As usual, our Site Status page will be updated during the maintenance activity:
