How much storage do I have left?

by ThinNow on ‎01-31-2013 06:10 PM

This answer was given in Dec, 2011 to a similar question: "We are buildling in a storage meter to our website in the future."  Well, it's more than a year in the future - has ANYTHING been done?  Not that I can see.

We have been paying for this for a year and I am trying to convince my company that this is a better service than Dropbox. But without knowing how much storage we have used, that argument fails. Why is it like pulling teeth to get you folks to add reasonable, helpful features that people ask for?  Don't you want to be the best at what you do? This isn't the only good suggestion on your forum and I can't find any that have been implemented in 2 years.

How many people do you think walk away and use a different service with more features? I'll bet it's in the hundreds or more. And even if they check this forum, they see that not much gets done even if it's requested. Great companies solicit suggestions and can't wait to implement them to appeal to more people. Average companies sit back and wait for people to click a thumbs up button.

Why has this question NOT been answered?

Hey guys,

Your frustrations are completely understood, and just know that although this has taken some time, we hear you and are planning to roll out many new features in the coming months- ones I know you will both be very happy with!

Did you know you can check your storage through the iPhone app? If you don't already have it, you can get it at the App Store:

How about those of us who don't want to use the iPhone app? Is it so difficult to add that meter to the YouSendIt account page? Please consider.

Hi Hartfilms,

We definitely are listening and you will be happy to read that we are planning to release a ton of exciting features in the near future! I have moved this post to our Suggestion Box so our Product Management team can view

Wow. I just spent 10 minutes looking through the entire website to find out how much storage I had used and how much is left, thinking that it MUST be there somewhere, and finally gave up and sent in a request to Customer Support.  In my request I expressed that I was so frustrated by not being able to find this most essential information, that I am on the verge of going to another service.  Then I discovered this page, and find out that it's been almost a year that this has been requested and it's still not done?  This company is clearly troubled if they can't fix something as simple as this, especially since they already know how to track it via mobile app.  Game over, trust broken.
