User Account Control dialog/logo with Windows Desktop App
Users may encounter an issue where Dekstop app icon disappears from the task tray and icon on the desktop shows the Windows User Account Control (UAC) logo.
When the Hightail Desktop App is installed, it works properly and successfully synchronizes all folders. However, after the restarting the computer, the Hightail Agent icon is no longer displayed in the taskbar and the desktop shortcut icon now shows the Windows UAC logo. Folders also do not synchronize.
Launching the Hightail Desktop App by double-clicking the desktop shortcut icon brings up Windows UAC dialog box. Clicking Yes opens the Hightail folder, but the folders do not synchronize.
Close the Hightail Desktop Agent from the tasbar by right-clicking the Hightail Agent icon and click Exit.
Click the Start button and type CMD in the Start Search box. Do not press ENTER.
In the list of programs, right click on cmd.exe and click Run as Administrator.
In the Windows User Account Control dialog, click Yes.
At the command prompt, type CD C:\Program Files (x86)\Hightail Desktop App, and then press ENTER.
Type ysiagent.exe /regserver and press ENTER.
Close the command prompt and restart the computer.
Also, make sure to remove any previous Compatibility/Privilege Level settings for both the program shortcut and ysiagent.exe
