Our engineers are hard at work building amazing features like a storage meter into our website (vote here if you’d like to see this!) In the meantime, did you know you can check your storage capacity from your Hightail for Mac or Windows desktop application?*
*Note: this will only include the folders that you currently have selected to sync to your computer.
On a Mac:
Open your Finder
Right-click (or control-click) on Hightail, and click Get Info.
3. Under Size you will see how much space your files and folders are taking up, as well as the item number.
On a Windows machine:
Right-click on the Hightail icon and choose Properties.
You will see your storage usage under Size on disk.
Did you know… You can also check your storage usage from the palm of your hand?
Open the Hightail app on your iOS mobile device and tap Settings.
Next to Storage, you will see what you’ve used and how much you have left!
Now that you know how to check storage on your computer, choose which folders get stored on your computer using our selective sync tool.
