Multi-Byte Character Support

by Community Manager ‎07-18-2014 02:23 PM - edited ‎07-23-2014 07:29 AM (198 Views)

To help support our international users, UTF-8 characters (i.e., multi-byte characters for languages like Japanese and Chinese) are now accepted in file/folder names.  It's just another way we are helping you get your work done, no matter where you are in the world or what your native language is!

Hightail translates to French, Spanish, German, Italian and Dutch

*Note: UTF-8 characters are not yet fully supported outside of file/folder names (e.g., account names and passwords, user metadata, uplink names, contacts, email subjects and bodies).
